How to get a Postal Box (Main Office)

Since I moved I always wanted to have my own PO Box or Postal Box. The old and beautiful postal boxes in the Manila Central Post Office are just something to be rented. They are old and beautiful and it seems a waste not to use them. You know that old things get older when they are not used and appreciated.

First thing you need to do is go to the postal boxes on the basement of the buliding. Go to Window 107 and give the following requirements:

1. Baranggay Clearance
2. 2 Valid ID (I assume she also needs photocopies)
3. 2 X 2 ID pictures

The rental fee is Php1,000 for a year

The bored lady inside the window told me that there are no available keys to give and that mails should be taken from her. I felt bad when I heard about that since there are tons of PO boxes that can be rented out and be used instead of just letting them rot like that.

I'll try the Ortigas Post Office about their postal boxes.
