Weekend activities for November 16 and 17, 2013

Well I am going to write about the things I would do today. The weather seems good like last week despite the super typhoon.

Many people are devoting their time to volunteer and help in the disaster. Somewhat I feel alienated about it since I don't watch TV. TV is much exaggerated here in the Philippines and often times unreliable.

Let's start with the first one.

FF Fundraiser: Conversations for a Cause

source: FF

When: November 16, 2013; 09:00 AM -2:00 AM
Where: the internet

Details: Stream starts at 9am. Click on the event image for more details. Stream will be shown here: http://j.mp/liveff
Tomorrow, Nov. 16 join us from 9am to 2am for an 18-hour webathon @j.mp/liveff to encourage donations to Red Cross in support of ongoing Yolanda relief efforts.

Participate in discussions, ask questions, play games, and even learn how to make hexaflexagons with fellow freethinkers here and around the world. Warm up your brains for the intelligent ideas and insights you'll gain from the great conversations with Daniel Dennett, Reina Reyes, and André David.
