Queen of Talkshit and the Queen of talk

Kris Aquino the Queen of Talkshit and SDT has done it again. She has put herself and the rest of the Filipino people to shame and in front of the camera. Good thing her robot called Bimby blurts out stuff her slut mother cannot even handle.

Oh God every time I read about Kris Aquino I wish to bomb the whole Malacanan together with her incompetent brother and also their land grabbing Chinese family.

Received postcards (April 30, 2012)

OMG! After posting a few hours ago about my delayed postcards three postcards came in today. I was like what took PHLpost such a long time to send these postcards? Are they still in the Holy Week holidays? I mean we have another holiday coming in and they have another excuse to be lazy.

No wonder philately and mail is really dying i the Philippines. Anyways these postcards at least made it before May so I was able to register about 7 this month from postcrossing.

Korean music of the week (April 30, 2014)

Since last week I featured Japanese songs why not go Korean this time. One sog has been in my mind for a week or so now and almost got me laid in the beach.

That song is catchy and well portrayed by the video. At least there as nothing weird about the video.

Ang basang karug (A horror story)

Warning this post might give you nightmares and yes its in Tagalog. And I have no plan on translating it either.

*cue in: horror music and thunder*

Kaya mamayang gabi mag-inga baka basa na ang karug mo... BWAHAHA

Ingatan ang iyong karug!

Awkward at Nagsasa Cove and still had fun

Awkward is usually some people use in a negative way but for me awkward is my life and soul. I bet I already said that at sometime before.

My co-worker-friend invited me to join a summer get away swimming a months ago. I said yes because I think I deserved one and I think need one. Is it for the fun and all that shit? Nope I just did it out the sheer need to kill monotony.

After work I took a bus to the meeting place somewhere in Bulacan I think. I have no idea where I really went. One funny thing is that this was one of the longest bus trips I had. We took off after work. The ride was bumpy and it was the first time after many years that I felt really sick. I was proud of myself because it was near Munoz I already feel throwing up like crazy but I made it after many minutes. I think it was hours. lolz

W got down at 7-11 so I was able to control my perspiration and shaking> Hey! I need to man up for this and that is ahrd when you are about the faint from a body that has all int's internal organs mixed because of one hell of a bumpy ride on a bus.

After eating stuff at 7-11 the other guys came in with the van. This my first time to meet the Metrogate boys. And damn I just know two of them. The whole group is now 12 including the driver. We sat on the van and then the trip to Zambales started.

They seem to be nice people and being boys with boys they were talking about a lot of their adventures in life. This is where I hear about a strange story but I will tell you that in my nexyt blog entry.

I was just like there sitting and waiting for something to happen. Yeah awkward but I enjoyed their stories with a poker face. I don't know them yet and doing so for my standards is kind of offensive.

We took a plaza at this plaza somewhere with two chapels. Vendors were selling us hammocks because they says its good for putting between the pine trees. Hmm pine trees.

Sts. John Paul II and John XXIII on Philippine Stamps

People you must brace yourselves with the latest stamp from the Philpost. They are going to feature the two newest saints of the Catholic Church for the amazing price of Php 200 each.

We now have St. John Paul the Great and St. John XXIII.

Here are the very expensive and not so philately friendly price of the Philpost:

I will not talk about the life of those Saints. You can google them quite easy.

But wonder why so expensive? I have the same questions myself. Because the Vatican seems to be selling their stamps again cheaper than the Philpost has.

Here are the Vatican issued stamps for the canonization of these two great Popes of the Church:

Black Saturday (April 19, 2014 and Easter Sunday (April 20, 2014)

Maundy Thursday and Good Friday really brings out the real deal with boredom. I was able to knit some stuff and read some pages. Somehow I hated doing those things or just plain being bored.

So I was out early on a black Saturday and headed to Rizal Park earlier than what was expected. So I took a little walk and took pictures of the surrounding areas. The park has improved on some levels.

Japanese songs of the week (April 22, 2014)

Salubong 2014 at Quiapo

I participated with the Salubong at Quiapo Church or the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene.

It is supposed to re-enact the meeting of Jesus and Mary after the Resurrection. Usually an angel (someone dressed up as an angel) comes in and just removed the black veil of the Virgin Mary. And they sing this familiar song, "Reyna ng langit."

This Holy week I heard two versions of the song. The first was from the choir in Ermita Church which me and my friend called the Bugbog Children's Choir. One of the most awful version of the song. I was so appalled by the way they sang the song.

And then we have this version sung by the Bulabog Children's Choir in Quiapo. They sang well but they are the most unruly choir ever. I was not able to record how they kept talking on mike while the priest was reading the gospel and his sermon.

Here is the Bulabog Children's Choir of Quiapo. Sorry I don't know what the hell they are really called.

Happy Easter! (2014)

This atheist greets everyone: HAPPY EASTER!

Why? Because I can and greeting as such don't bother my lack of belief.

For this past Maundy Thursday until Black Saturday I tried my best not to be online. It was a good long rest from the fake social life we modern people have.

I was also quite bored that I knitted these mug warmers as I call them.

Holy Monday music and Readings (April 14, 2014)

Here are the readings and music for Holy Monday.

Readings: Isaiah 42: 1-7, Psalm 27:1-14, John 12: 1-11

My Holy Monday drama (April 14, 2014)

I went home at around 5 am from a stay at Rizal Park. So I went to bed and slept. Not long after I realized it was already 1 pm. So I just changed clothes and went to work.

The jeep I rode on was fucking slow and time was running fast. I am late once more. I put on my earphones and distracted myself with music. The trip was normal like any other day. I went down the jeep and went up the MRT.

Still the fucking MRT is as crowded as it is. It's good that when I came in a train just arrived. Now its way past 1:30 pm. Surely I will be late.

I was thinkings it's fucking Holy Monday. Why are there still people going here and there and then I remebred that I am the same as them. Going somewhere.

Holy Monday I am late once more. I sent a text message that I will be late. And when at work I wrote the wrong time (five minutes earlier) because I know that some people don't even log in. So why the fuck should I be honest?

I sat down prepared my templates and schedule. Opened up the Liturgy of the Hours just to calm my nerves.

Damn I forgot coffee and to also buy undies. I will do that tomorrow.

Senior Center at Rizal Park (Not even senior friendly)

The Senior Center was one of the places opened up at the Rizal PArk for its Senior visitors. It's a place where they should be able to take some rest and just chat over with other friends and maybe some other family members.

They also provided them some exercise machines so as to make their bodies stronger.

One of the new places to visit and was inagurated in February 2014. I went there for a look last Sunday and this is what I saw.

There are no guards or security for the place for children have destroyed the facilities to be used as exercise machines.

Some of the machines have parts taken off and is not working anymore.

APO Stamp Auction (April 6, 2014)

This is my first time to do and really focus on a stamp auction. Usually I cannot sit down and listen to the stamp auctions being done by the Filipinas Stamp Collectors Club.

It's the first Sunday f the month and I head to the PHLpost alone. I know people will be there but I rather keep to myself when doing things like this. You know I am a lone wolf.

I went a bit late and I noticed that this group has fewer people in attendance. I wrote my name and got a number. I chose 13 for luck.

Most of the items are interesting and quite cheap. I had my eyes on the maxicards as well as some stamps. I have my auction list marked jut in case. I have a little budget and I said I must not exede Php 500 for the stamps. I need to survive till Thursday.

Received postcards and stamps (April 7, 2014)

After a few hours of sleep I woke to these two guys at my bed. And what a surprise from a good heart from Portugal. I need to send her something as well.

Now I wish I have my own house where I can have cats and no one will care.

The Rizal Park flag pole. Anyare?

Remember the Php 7.8 million flag pole of Rizal Park. Well it seems it was made of weak marble. The marbles are falling apart last Sunday (April 6, 2014)

This where your Php 7.8 million went! They said it was worth it and even boasted about the worth of having such a flagpole.
Sorry I am disappointed.

Car shows and the Objectification of women

There is really nothing bad with car shows. I think they are just another way a man enjoys his life and money. The car is one technology that never changed much except with the design and its ever increasing value for money.

I am not a car fan but if people like cars Fine by me. Some cars are really beautiful in and of itself.

My problem arises with women being shown beside cars. I mean these pretty women no matter how covered they are has just one purpose. They are there to make the men think that having such and such a car will get me this kind of women.

You know, the ones that you can just fuck and then forget. These women have no idea what these cars can do or even make a presentation of what this or that car has over other cars. Nothing.

Those women are there as marketing objects. I don't like the idea of women being objectified in anyway. That is what I learned about being such a radical asshole.

I will end with this nice quote:

...cars are like toys, women are like toys too! Particularly unsubtle use of objectification of women as a sales tactic (source: here)
